Hello crafters and welcome back to my blog. Today we’re getting tropical and looking at the stunning Dovecraft Collection ‘Finding Paradise’, available at DRK Crafts.
Boasting a vibrant and captivating array of colours and prints, this collection comprises an impressive selection of paper pads in three distinct sizes (6×6 inch, 8×8 inch & 12×12 inch), washi tape, stamps, stickers, sentiment toppers, glitter alphabet stickers and more. Whether used individually or combined with items from your existing crafting inventory, this collection provides a wealth of options for creating stunning tropical-themed projects.
The paper pads are particularly noteworthy, with twelve unique designs that feature a colourful menagerie of parrots, flamingos and tigers, and an assortment of flora and foliage prints. Furthermore, the other products in this collection have been carefully curated to coordinate seamlessly with the paper designs, matching either colours or images for optimal aesthetic synergy.
Using 3 different papers from the 6×6 pad and a pale pink paper from the Dovecraft Essentials ‘Colours Paper Pack’ (an essential for all crafters), I created this tropical birthday card. I utilised stamps from the Lawn Fawn ‘Toucan Do It’ stamp set for the featured images and coloured them with a variety of Copic markers. I used small foam squares to attach some of the images to the card, while the rest were glued, adding depth and dimension to the finished piece.
